Gandys has generated some terrific media and interest with its unique story, charity work, approach to business and PR Stunts.
The brothers' inspiring story has caught the headlines due to the unique story behind the brand,
which has given the press a lot to talk about. From the front pages of the Evening Standard and Metro newspapers,
to gracing the fashion pages of the Telegraph, The Guardian and The Sun.
The brothers discussed exclusively to the Metro the launch of the 230,000 summer movement,
as well as having a feature on National Flip Flop Day with Sir Richard Branson and his Virgin staff wearing Gandys!
The brothers have had quite a few prime time television moments, firstly on The Alan Titchmarsh Show and then on Lorraine ITV Daybreak. Both ITV and BBC London also picking up on the Gandys story in the last few weeks, discussing the aims of opening the first children's home in India by 2014. The brothers announced that Gandys are a third of the way to reaching their target.
The brothers have been promoting across radio networks around the U.K for people to listen to what they have achieved so far and what aims they have for the future.
The brothers are happy to share what they want to achieve with Gandys, this is a reason why they have been approached by such well known companies like RedBull, Innocent, Endermol, MTV and most recently TED. They produce talks about why the company began, what obstacles they have faced and overcome, and about the unique social enterprise side of the business, as a chance to inspire people to set up a business, or work for a unique corporation.
The Gandys product has been causing a stir in the glossy magazines of Britain. Look, Company, Vogue and FHM have written features about the boys and their fashionable flip-flops, and with product placement in Glamour, Reveal and Now - making Gandys the Summer "Must Have" essential.
Coinciding with the launch of our 230,000 summer movement campaign, 300 posters were put up around the busiest London underground stations from Oxford Circus to Kings Cross!
The Gandys brothers were kindly asked to appear on an International TV advert, for the global leader in product sourcing, Alibaba. The advert went out at peak times on channels such as Sky1 and Sky News for a 3 week period over the summer reaching millions of viewers and also over 400,000 Youtube hits on the video series created in conjunction with the advert.
